I have an easy-going , fun nature. I'm a little shy at first but open up quickly. I work fulltime but when I'm at home I enjoy reading, crafts, listening to music(country, oldies, classic rock), my computer, and working on my house. I also enjoy a variety of activities including fishing, gardening, bowling, playing poker, car races, dining out, bunco, and movies(comedy, romance, drama). When I go out on dates I enjoy going to a quiet restaurant for good food, conversation, and company, and later going to a bookstore, coffee bar, movie, listening to music, shopping, or exploring someplace new. I like many different types of foods but my favorites are mexican food and seafood. I have been divorced for 11 yrs and have one that's single, 22 yrs old who is going to college parttime and working a fulltime job. She has a fulltime boyfriend so we're really like roommates. I am a native Texan and have lived in the Houston area my entire life. I live in SE Houston near Clear Lake. My friends would describe me as witty, affectionate, honest, loving, devoted, and comitted.
My Ideal Person
I'm hoping to find someone to develop a long-term relationship with. Someone who has his own individual personality traits but may possess some that I have also. I'm attracted to men who are strong, smart, level-headed, easy-going, and funny. I want someone who will take charge but will allow me to maintain some of my own independence and decision-making. I like big, tall men (teddy bear types), neat, organized, and some old fashioned values. Someone who will provide financial and emotional security. Chemistry is very important in maintaining a healthy sexual relationship. I want someone who will be committed to the relationship at all times whether good or bad, and will not walk away if things get rough along the way. Someone who will walk beside me as my equal. I would welcome his children/grandchildren as I hope he would mine. Prefer someone who has older or grown children.
