I've got sassafras in my blood. I'm curious about mostly everything, so I'm chock-full of questions, and I always have the best of intentions. I'm starting a publishing company and writing a play. Sometimes I hiccup after just one glass of wine, and I think it's endearing. I used to be a full-time editor, so I love holding a red pen in my left hand. Give me your essays! Don't worry, though, I don't use this as cocktail-party talk. I'm really bad at Scrabble, and this hurts my ego. I make it a point to learn from my mistakes, and I prefer to be around people who do too. I am most impressed by sincerity in others, because that's what I am: sincere. But I tell it like it is and want to hear it like it is with kindness. I grew up in a small town in WV, but both parents are Argentine, so I know good coffee and good steak. If it's done right, you shouldn't have to douse it in A1 sauce. Trust me on this.
