I am friendly, loyal, affectionate and very loving, and making another person happy is one of the most important things in my life. By making another person happy, I achieve my own happiness, but this is a mutual endeavour. I've always believed that if two people both concentrate on their partner's joy, the relationship cannot fail, usually it's selfishness and ego that destroys it. I love music, read and write my own songs (at times), enjoy languages (speak Hungarian and a little of several other languages), love nature, animals (still mourning my beautiful long-haired white chihuahua - sob), love fishing/camping, am a great cook, and have travelled the world for the past 30 years. Writing a book too. At heart I am a true romantic, perhaps foolishly so, but one can't change their basic self and I guess I was born that way. Just can't live without those cuddles and snuggles, those unexpected shows of love and affection, but I sure know how to give them too... Intelligence is also a must in any partner I find, as I am intelligent and openminded myself and a broad general knowledge is also essential to cultivating a well-balanced relationship. My sense of humour is excellent and I enjoy the same quality in others, as laughter is a precious thing to share with another. Sometimes I'm a real at heart, which I enjoy, but I have enough sense to recognise when the need arises to be serious. I am very intuitive and perceptive, and capable of picking up the smallest hints and nuances - in part that is an inherent quality, in part simply life experience. I feel comfortable in most surroundings and able to adapt easily, I have quick reaction powers and not much in life will really "faze" me as I have lived through a great deal. Being able to value the small things in life is very important to me. I believe all relationships need to be worked on, on a constant basis, and that communication is one of the most important essentials. Doing things together, making time to spend together, setting aside quality time for each other is another essential to a lasting, loving partnership. At times I can be naughty and cheeky, but I enjoy that quality in others as well. So much more to say, but the rest can wait must keep a little mystery about oneself...

Someone I can laugh with, someone I can cry with - a person whose inner strength is visible to me, along with their other qualities of intelligence (very important), affection, romance, sensuality.... who loves being with me and allows me to make them the centre of my life. Someone who is not too proud to be totally honest and who will share everything with me, all his thoughts and feelings, who will talk to me in both good and bad times, who will lay lazy with me for days, someone who will open up their soul for me..... What would you do on an ideal date?:
Dinner at a fancy restaurant, slow dancing and a moonlit walk on the beach., Getting food delivered, renting movies and snuggling by the fireplace., Jetting off to Paris to have dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower as the sunsets.
