I am a 54 year young woman who is trying to learn about herself again after spending the last 22 years raising a child on her own. My son is spreading his wings, so now I get to spread mine. And I'd love to have a good man along with me for the ride. I am employed full time as a supervisor in an engineering firm. I am a very honest person, have been known to have a bit of a sharp wit (mom used to called me acid tongue!), am confident with who I am, and self sufficient. I am not looking for someone to complete me, rather to compliment me. I enjoy the usual types of activites, and while I'm not necessarily a thrill seeker, I do enjoy an adventure here and there. I'd like to find a guy who would like to look toward the future - at least more than a first date!
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet a tall (6'+) man, no one too skinny, who is interested in building a relationship and possible future with a good woman. He must be honest, have a sense of humor, and enjoy a variety of things, including music, movies, dining out, evenings at home, yard sales, weekend jaunts, or what I call "roughing it" (no room service), and more. I've tried the camping/wilderness thing on my own with my son with little to no success but I'd be willing to give it shot again with someone who knows what they're doing. My potential partner should enjoy intimacy, passionate kisses, sharing the good and the bad. He should feel comfortable and enjoy being in jeans as much as a tux...I have a few opportunities throughout the year to get dressed up and enjoy doing so.
