If you've only got a short attention span for dating, or friendship, you'll miss most of the fun with me. I like to start off with a very casual and relaxed pace, and it's usually after I find my common ground with someone that my playfulness becomes uncorked, and I become a terrible tease.
I like cross-country skiing, and going for walks. I like board games, and computer games, leaning more towards strategy than action. I'm a bit of a musician and writer, and love to be artistically creative. I enjoy reviewing episodes of my favourite shows and movies in great detail, with a lot of attention paid to how well positive philosophies are incorporated into the storyline and the characters' actions, because that's how I tend to see life. I have a very inclusive "new age" sense of spirituality that says we are all connected portions of the creator, and I rarely think about it on a scale smaller than the galaxy.
I'm attracted to warm colours, and cosy corners. Ayurvedic life-science classifies me as a Vata-Kapha mind-body type. I have the thin ectomorphic physical build of the Vata, capable of being quick and energetic when I'm passionate, combined with the calm, easy-going instincts of the Kapha, which is typically far more dominant as I get to know new people and learn how best to tease them. My deepest emotions link to my sense of touch, so I guess it's not surprising that I believe snuggling should ideally be a big part of most of the enjoyable things couples do together. In fact that's worth saying again. Snuggling is important.
I'm not big on perfumes, but I prefer the "fruity" ones, and keep my distance from the sharp ones. If you smoke, forget about it; I'm elsewhere enjoying oxygen.
Yes, of course you like movies, but what kind? I love sci-fi for its explorative opportunities to "let the philosopher roam just as freely as he or she chooses", as well as the colourful vistas and spectacles that special effects can create. I also love comedy with or without romance, and the rare gem of a really good positive-thought-provoking drama or documentary.
So, what are you waiting for? Write and tell me something unusual about yourself, like friends do...
My Ideal Person:
As much as I appreciate and like to make a variety of new friends, that special someone needs to inspire me somehow, and complement my character and personality with her own.
I'm guessing another Vata-Kapha person might be ideal for me, but I don't want to discriminate based on that alone - I'd much rather get to know a person first. And if we're both excited to explore each other on many levels, and we find we have lots of common interests and compatible desires, that's what really counts.
