Wow, I never thought of myself as a shrinking violet, but I'm finding it a challenge to meet people and make friends in my new hometown. I'm a pretty laid-back, go with the flow kinda gal who doesn't have any strange or scary character quirks...at least I don't think I do. You'd have to get to know me and tell me if I do, I suppose, LOL!
I have a goofy sense of humor and a strong streak of honesty, a combination that has made for some interesting situations in my life. I'm close to my family, but don't need to spend every waking moment with them. In fact, I often need extended breaks from them so that I don't go bonkers.
I finally moved out of my parent's house and into a house of my own. I must be a grownup if I'm paying a mortgage. I started a new job a few months ago and it's all good so far. Life's an adventure!!
I enjoy reading, hanging out in the great outdoors, cooking, writing, and watching silly sci-fi tv shows. I'm mostly a vegetarian (I eats fishies and, very occasionally, chickens), but I don't want or expect anyone else to be one...so eat as many moo-cows, piggies, and chickens as ya want.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for friends. Someone fun I can hang out with and go out to dinner and movies with.
Of course, always open to finding a guy. Someone who can be slightly mature when the occasion calls for it. I'm not askin for miracles here! LOL!! Confident, but not arrogant...comfortable in your life and your skin. Self-sufficient and stable with a nutty sense of humor. Humor is key...you'll need it with me around...hehehehe...
