I'm divorced and have 2 adult children - one married with three children and one at home with me. My other "child" is a Scottish Terrier named "Scottie"!
My failings!: I am VERY independent and enjoy my own company and space. Have a hot temper but, thankfully, very seldom seen!
I have strong opinions about some things and tend to be a bit overbearing if I am not reminded of the fact!
Attributes: I am a very loyal, good friend and a good listener. I don't flap or panic so am normally good in an emergency.
I believe in mutual respect - no matter how young, old, what race, etc.
Good sense of humour
I believe in good Christian principles and also tend to cling to 'old' values.
I dislike vulgarity in ANY form and I do not like constant use of those 4-letter words - although I have been known to use some of them occasionally when provoked enough!!! I do have to admit to using some swear words like bugger, bloody, etc, all the time!!! (Where's the soap??)
I love children and all animals and hate to see ANY form of cruelty to either.
I'm not a people's person but I enjoy making contact through letters - I have a keen interest in how other people live.
My Ideal Person:
A gentle-man with the same values as myself and who believes in treating a lady as a lady - I am not a true feminist (I suppose you could say I like the best of both worlds!!)
What would you do on an ideal date?:
Dinner at a fancy restaurant, slow dancing and a moonlit walk on the beach., A sporting event complete with hot dogs, beer, pretzels and a couple more beers.

Smart casual when I go out although smart if the occasion calls for it. At home mostly very casual and extremely comfy!!!
