I like to think I'm rather independent and can take care of myself, but am at the point that it would be nice to have someone to share the day to day with. I live on my own in Cedar rapids, and work at a local hospital, not always doing what I went to school for, but for the most part like it.
I have a 1 1/2 year old boxer pup who gets way to much of my attention. I like to go out once in a while but am not looking for someone who still goes to the bars every weekend. I like to stay in and watch movies when its cold out, and love a good concert or football / baseball game (Cubbies, Bears or Hawkeyes, not sure if I could stand to sit though and cheer for anyone else,)
