I enjoy biking and sailing, meeting people, eating, on-sen, and travel. Have lived in Japan for more than 40 years. Looking for someone interested in sharing experiences good and bad.
Am creating plan to sail around the islands of Japan on a 16 foot dingy starting in October of 2010. Looking for sponsors and others wanting to participate either as support or as fellow sailors.
My Ideal Person:
Willing to test her limits and push them beyond what she thinks she is capable of doing. Capable of thinking ahead, thinking creatively, thinking positive. Able to lead when required, follow when necessary. Able to strive to overcome failure when failure occurs.
Able to enjoy a good beer when the going gets tough. Able to joke, when the silver linings no longer shine. Able to show compassion when on top of the world. In other words, just about everything I am not, but wish I were.
