Let's see...where to begin... '
I'm 45, widowed for several years now. I have 2 children (teenagers/young adults) who seem to occupy alot of my time! So much in fact, that it's hard to meet people, as I'm sure you know if you are blessed enough to have children! I'm a homebody who enjoys quiet time, cooking, etc.. I'm not much into big parties or fancy restaurants. I'd much rather make a nice meal and share it with someone special. I work teaching job skills to people who have mental illnesses. I enjoy helping people, so this is why I chose this line of work. It's so rewarding to watch people succeed and to know that you were a part of that! I am a christian, but not overly religious. I try to attend church whenever possible, but seems to be on average of once a month. I love music, as well. I have relatives in a local country band, and enjoy going out occasionally to hear them and to kick up my heels! hehe

My Ideal Person:
I guess the kind of people I get along with most are the easy going, down to earth people. If you're comfortable in jeans, rather than a suit, look me up. If you'd rather take a walk or sit by the river than going to the opening of some fancy new restaurant, then you're someone that I could get along with. If you like hunting or fishing better than golf, then you're just the kind of guy I like. If you've got some meat on your bones instead of all skin and bones, well, that's what I like! I don't care about the color of your skin, or your religion, or age (just please be over 30 and under 60!) I prefer someone who drives a tractor over someone who drives a BMW. I'm a small town gal with small town values. No frills...I am who I am!
What would you do on an ideal date?:
Getting food delivered, renting movies and snuggling by the fireplace.
