Let's get this out of the way now. I am a geek! That's right, I love to read and write in my spare time. I still go to school on a part-time basis and I also play role playing games. I also enjoy watching sci-fi and anime. Some would say I'm not exactly normal. But then who can say that they are and who decides what is is normal? As for the more mundane, I am a current grad student working on my MS in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology.
I have traveled alot in my life coming from a military family and have a continuing sense of wonder about the world. I have traveled to four of the seven continents and intend to eventually visit the other three (South America, Austrialia and Antartica). Traveling is just another way I explore life.
I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy novels. Among some of my favorite series are Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter. I also like Piers Anthony's books and manga.
Finally I believe having a sense of humor is very important. I honestly believe humor is essential to life. Be it cheesy jokes (and trust me, I've probably heard them all) to a witty repertoire, if you don't have a sense of humor, life is dull.
As for what I like in guys, let's just say that I'm willing to give anyone a chance. I really have no particular "thing" I search for in guys other than the pre-requisite of having a sense of humor. I also tend to be quiet oblivious to any guy liking me. Chalk up another one to being the typical geek. *shrugs* So if I haven't completely scared you away, go ahead and send me an email.

My personal style is generally casual, comfortable and
