As you can see from the picture on the right, I had a tough time during those cancer treatments. As you can see from the picture on the left, I'm doing great now! I am a cancer survivor and am interested in hearing from others who have experienced traumas of any type in their lives that have had a life altering effect on them, and/or their family. I have a very positive attitude about life, and am interested in hearing from you.
I am a long term survivor of Leukemia, having been diagnosed and treated more than fifteen years ago. You can see from the photo taken during treatment that it was hard on me. From the 'after' photo on the left, you can see I came through treatment successfully. Like others who have had challenges in their lives, that experience taught me many lessons. Cancer survivors and survivors of other life changing traumas have wonderful stories to share. Sometimes these stories are heartwarming, sometimes they are heartbreaking, and sometimes they are both. I would love to hear your story, or the story of someone you know. Of course, if you like, I would be glad to share my own.
