WYSIWYG~I'm pretty straight-forward, once I get to know someone. I don't dance, dye my hair, or do street drugs. Totally casual is my style...jeans, t-shirts, wash-and-wear hair, comfortable shoes. The bar scene is OK once in awhile, but background noise drives me up the wall when I'm enjoying a conversation, so I'd rather have quieter surroundings most of the time. I've been divorced for years, with a couple of serious relationships since, but not the permanent kind. I have two wonderful sons, both in their 30's and single. I retired in March, 2007, after 35 years in the same job. Now I'd like to do some traveling and catch up on things I missed while earning a youthful retirement. I prefer classic rock music and would love to see Eric Clapton in concert someday! I have quit smoking and need an exercise buddy!
My Ideal Person:
Must be honest, caring, able to carry on an intelligent conversation, and be willing to help keep me smoke-free. I have no interest in another woman's husband, so if you're married, please move on. I'm not looking for a centerfold model, but reasonably good looking is a plus. Skinny men don't turn me on, but a little extra padding is OK. In a relationship, I need to feel that we're on equal footing, with neither of us dominating the other, and both free to be ourselves as well. As I get closer to the "golden years," I believe more and more that "today is the first day of the rest of our lives," and I'm looking for someone to share my tomorrows with, and make them the best of both our lives.
