I really enjoy many different activities and am will to try most things at least once. I enjoy both being outdoors and indoors. I am currently an amateur potter. I took a pottery class back when I was in school and really enjoyed it so I am doing it again. Don't expect too much though I am only an amateur. I am also into photography. Mostly nature photography, but architecture is another interest of mine. I like to go fishing and ride my bike; however, I haven't done these as much ever since I moved to northern Virginia over a year ago. The roads are way too busy. But I do know of a couple of off road paths that I sometimes use. I enjoy cooking, mostly simple things. The other day though I did make some homemade yogurt. It didn't turn out exactly how I expected, but is was still fun making it. I like to read too. I usually read informational books, but sometimes throw in a novel to mix things up. For me reading is usually a time killer; I read when I don't have anything else to do. I also play the piano or in my case the keyboard. I try to write some of my own music because playing other peoples music usually gets repetitive. One thing that I don't do is watch TV. I don't even own one. I find that there are many other things that are much more challenging and enriching.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone who enjoys being active both physically and mentally. They need to enjoy at least a few of the hobbies that I enjoy.(See my introduction for some of them.) They also need to have their own life and friends. Time away from your significant other is as important as time together. Finally, they need to be looking for a long term/marriage relationship.

Rollerblading at noon, lunch to follow and a movie or live music concert in the evening.
