Unusual, yet normal, gal from the Midwest. I am a deep woman with a light heart. Have a trenchant sense of humor that makes you think while you are laughing. I enjoy all kinds of live music from classical to gut stompin' blues, baroque to rock, tex-mex to jazz to cajun. Kids relate well to me--oldsters too. I spend my work life in the arts and laugh every day with the creative community I work in. But I have spent too much time working and not enough playing. I would like to change that.

Looking for a smart man; but not a smart A**. Someone who is self supporting, self starter; but not self satisfied. A man who does not equate kindness with weakness. Needs to be inquisitive about the world and people. Learns from mistakes. A giving, laughter-filled heart. Politically liberal--no priggish bigots need apply. Not out of shape or at least working on it--treadmill is not a clothes hanger.
