Spring peeped up from round the corner for a couple of days here, but was punched back in the queue by 'angry Grandmother March', as we call this month in Bulgaria...Yeah, juniors have to be patient..And spring is waiting for her turn now trembling in her thin pink dress garnished with tiny multi-coloured flowers...
But as much as I love the sun, I'd gladly donate our forthcoming warm weather to the homeless Japanese people if I could...Because as one of the poorest nations in the EU, my country helped the people in Japan in their misfortune only with blankets, camp beds and cans of food...
And I say, isn't it a shame that instead of focusing on helping a nation struck by one of the greatest natural disasters known in our lifespan, politicians focus ally military forces into another country, dangerously expanding a regional conflict into an international one, in order to "protect" civilians...And who will protect the civilians against the coalition tomahawk missiles?   ...
Gadaffi is already calling upon the rest of the islamic nations for counter-attack...
Nostradamus prophecies come to my mind, as well as Albert Enstein's words,
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.."
Come on guys, tell me my worries are in vain....

Snow bandaged my world again in hospital white...Ice-muddy roads like dirty sticking plasters muted the merry babble of living creatures...Dark silhouettes of neighbours can be seen here and there caged in the frames of their apartment balconies, dejectedly staring at this stark, oppresively silent Saturday.
The cars, useless and deserted on this non-working day, stay snow-topped, stranded on the streets like frozen cockroaches...Only a few seagulls venture with an insecure step on the slippery paths looking for remnants of food...
Well, that's a very unromantic version of picturing snowy winter in the city, isn't it? That's how I feel it
I can only hope that March will bring some colour and sound therapy with itself
I named the picture I took in the first half of February, when we had some sun, "Nostalgy"...
Only two days till the end of February, my friends ....

This is the love confession I got from my dimentia mum today while I was doing her morning toilet and was guiding her wet fingers over the skin of her face to refresh it...Words that brightened my day and once again put in the right place in my thoughts and heart all sacrifices that I have been making for her so far...
And I have always wondered who I inherited my silly sentimental poetic soul from  ...

I miss Belle..with the tender poems about love and friendship she posted on her blog...Don't you miss her? I hope she comes back to us...And I miss Beta, too. Do you remember her? I often think of her. Such a fun girlie ...Hope she is doing well. It is sad that once a blogger goes away, he/she sinks into oblivion.

I wonder what do men so much younger than me expect as an answer? I just dismiss such e-mails with no response...
The temps we are having here at the moment are marked as record heat temps for November weather in Bulgaria - about 22*C/70+F by the sea and up to 29*C/80+F in the inside of the country...Another proof of the global climatic changes. No matter how happy my heart and body feel at the moment by the extended warmth to us, my mind is worried because the winter predicted to us is to be colder even than the last one. And last year we had record low winter temperatures
I called the photo you see from my morning walk today "Early Risers" The little dots you see in the sea are fishing boats...

The mild mist wraps me, absorbs me and dissolves me in its silence. The lazy sea is splashing muffled sounds towards me, deluding me that it can never be enraged...Calmness pervades my body until it puts my mind to sleep.
Sometimes I can write nice words about a season different from summer, lol ..But it was misty yesterday...It was a golden morning today when I took this pic and I was amazed how animated the park was and how full of people the beach cafes were in the early hours of the day....
