Down on the farm Part 7 Mar 9, 2006 7:51 pm

It has been awhile since I've done a down on the farm story so I thought it was time to do one.

Being the youngest in the family you tend to get stuck with the worst jobs. Passing the buck so to speak.

We used to do custom hay baleing each year and I always got stuck raking hay. My dad or brother would do the baleing cause they got to use the tractor with the air conditioned cab and radio in it. Of course if the baler got plugged I would have to stop and help them unplug it.

I had to use a Japaneese tractor with no cab. I would be going around and around in circles raking the hay till I discovered I stirred up a bubble bee nest.

Oh Crap! I would stop and survey the perdicerment then kick it into road gear and plow right through them hoping to outrun them. Those buggers can fly faster than my tractor could run. So once it got too dangerous to outrun them I would idle down the tractor and jump off and they would chase the tractor and I would run towards the pond just in case they came after me.

The things I had to go through just to feed a bunch of stupid cows.

Rain rain go away
Come again another day

Here at home is where I stay
Without a chance to make some pay

Bills have got me on the run
Can't go out and have some fun

I can't work there is no sun
Till the thunderstorm is done

So I sit here every day
On my puter I will play

Till I have my chance to say
Time to go and earn some pay

Needing a new plan Mar 7, 2006 8:22 pm

Ok brain! I just googled Taking over the world and we were not to be found there.

So we are not on the first page. We are still getting started. We are less than a year old with this plan.

No you don't understand. I went 50 pages back and we were not there. Maybe we need a new motto or goal in life, cause we are sucking at taking over the world through blogging.

I even saw topics of penguins and squirrels taking over the world, but not us.

You know they are pretty cute. Maybe that is what is wrong with our plan.

Are you calling me ugly you stupid brain?

Well! You are not as young as you used to be.

Maybe it is your fault. I heard that once a person reaches 30 they lose 100,000 brains cells a day.

Are you calling me stupid?

Well you are not as young as you used to be.

Ok I went to my brothers on Sunday and got a card from my grand dad for chridtmas that had $20 in it. I should visit them more often.

Anyways yesterday I took the money and bought a pizza and rented 2 movies.

The transporter 2 was the first one I watched.I loved the first movie and the second was not bad too. The fight scenes is what it is all about in that movie anyways.

The second one was Kingdom of Heaven which I think was the better of the two movies. The last part where the enemy was laying siege to the city was great to watch. I won't say too much just in case you have not seen it yet.

Anyways it was a good day to do it cause I have not watched any tv or movies for a while and was going through withdraw.

So I give both movies a thumbs up. lol

What life would you rather live
In a nice house but struggling to pay the bills and no money to have fun with.
A cheap house that is old and needs a lot of work but money to go out on.
A trailer house that is bought and paid for and you are able to save money like a mad man.
A nice house but having to share it with a room mate to save money and have fun.

It got up to 80 degrees today according to the temp gauge in my truck. It was so warm out while working wednesday that I was sweating. Yuck!

I guess it is time to get rid of the winter look I have now. My hair and beard are so long I am starting to look like Johnny Damon during the World Series.

If I was in Boston I would probably be getting people coming up to me asking what the hell I have done to myself letting myself get fat when Spring training is about to start.

Ok I was crusin up and down the road today trying to find a pedestal I was suppossed to work at. I don't get paid by the hour so when I am at work time is important.

Anyways after three or four trips up and down this spot looking for where it is suppossed to be, I finally see the top of it poking up out of a big flower bed.

What is it with women who think they find this thing so ugly that they have to try and hide it with flowers and shrubs. I pretty much needed a machete to get close enough to it to work on it.

I hate that and it is the worst when they put something with thorns around it. Sheesh! Give a guy a break will you.

WPIG radio Feb 25, 2006 11:01 am

Coming to you from the middle of a corn field, this is WPIG radio bringing you the best of country music. Soo Wee!

First up is a song by Hank Williams Sr.

Hear the lonesome whiperwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I’m so lonesome I could cry

I’ve never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by
The moon just went behind a cloud
To hide it’s face and cry

Did you ever see a robin weep
When leaves begin to die
That means he’s lost the will to live
I’m so lonesome I could cry

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder where you are
I’m so lonesome I could cry

Woo Wee! That brought a tear to my eye, or was it the smell of hogs. Anyways we are signing off now cause due to lack of local funding and because we forgot to hire an advertising staff we can only afford to play one song a day.

So tune in tommorrow at the same time for another tune and have a Hoggariffic day. Yee Haw!

Home for wayward FF members Feb 24, 2006 6:29 pm

I have been talking to another member of FF tonight and we were talking about how a bunch of us who chat together a lot should all get a big place together and move in to save money.

I think it would be cool to get an old building downtown and fix it up into lofts for each person so that each person would have their own space but we would all still be living in the same building.

I think it sounds like a plan if we can get enough people to go in on it together. We could call it the home for wayward FF members lol.
