just got done watching grand torino..again.it's one ot the two best..if not THE best Eastwood movie ever made.just the humble opinion of this old fool.but,it's like i have to watch it every time its aired.am drawn to it.maybe..just maybe its because there is more than one "thing" in it that reminds me of..me.i now where that old mans spirit resides.

When i was ten i caught a frog and kept him in a tub.
But i knew that it was wrong,this thing,so i freed him out of love.
The lake was blue;the sky was too,not a ripple on the bay.
He'll be back,i thought,he loves me,as i watched him swim away.
I watched my little buddy..this frog that i called Mike.
I watched and watched as suddenly...he was eaten by a pike.

it is 10 years today that my Mother died..and 5 years this day that a hero of mine died. and i still stand with a broken heart.this will never change.
its a pretty sad state of affairs,when the only way to vent is to enter this information into the big empty sea of rudeness and lies called the internet.
so be it................

spent most of the morning,getting nothing accomplished.other,that is,than watching an adult and young bald eagles out hunting on the crusty floating ice of the lake.it never fails..seeing them always lifts my spirit,no matter how low i feel.
it makes up for all the rudeness suffered,caused by people.
so no..it wasnt a waste of time.

understand this..i am no prude.far from it..BUT.. has anyone else noticed that this site is becomming a T and A site,scammers site?i mean hey..there are sites for that type of stuff..and i belong to those too...but the sexual references that are now on this site..geez. and the scammers!!!
ahhhhhhhhh..why did i even bother with this?who gives a ....
