I for one will lock arms with you on this crusade to stop the madness that people put upon defenseless animals for whatever reason they find it to be. If they will be this way to an animal they will be this way to a human as well. I would never ever treat my animals badly and am appalled by the cruelty I have seen on the internet postings and in every day life. I think the ones who do such acts of torture should be on the receiving end.

I haven't commented because i've been away from the blogs for a couple of days....but rest assured that the scenes you describe are despicable and make me despair of human beings Love your animals and care for them.... knowing that at the very least two animals on the planet are cared for... I take care of my cat... my friends care for their dogs.... Some people simply have no emotional centre that says care for the helpless creatures you share the planet with... Wishing you happiness Misty

Cruelty to animals is a crime but still people continue to do things that would hurt them, in my country, some people butcher dogs for food, every time I hear news about this I can't help but feel compassion for those animals. I think there is a need to strictly implement the law, punish those who are caught hurting or killing those animals. "It's magic when two people fall in love."

In the West we concider these animals pets, in the Far East they are considered food so this is cultural. A cow is considered sacred in other cultures and we consider it food, I do not agree with cruelty in animal husbandry. There is sadly no easy solutions to this thanks for reading and as per Dave Allen "May your God go with you"

I ponder how to reply to your comment Alec...as i said in my blog there is cruelty around the world...but much more atrocious acts in certain parts of the world...i think one has to watch the examples that are appearing on our news and in our newspapers to see these acts they commit in the name of food and medicine is NOT in any way acceptable..in the Far East they do have dogs as pets and cats, yet in the markets they are crushed in crates and taken out and killed...as you say there is no easy solution, and one reason why i could never have religion in my life as i could never accept that 'god' could let this happen... In China the wok was invented as there was a shortage of combustable fuel, it took little fuel and was quick - there was famine on huge scale so anything was eaten. God gives us free will and we answer at the end of days. thanks for reading and as per Dave Allen "May your God go with you"

I agree but I cannot see any easy solution, In China the wok was invented as there was a shortage of combustable fuel, it took little fuel and was quick - there was famine on huge scale so anything was eaten. I know my cats and dog because I spend so much time with them. watching them go about their life, i have seen and heard many things, 1 they show little remorse for death when one of them dies. but when you lease expect my cats have showed many human traits. they are hear for us. and when one dies its not the end of it, they come back to me almost every time. I was moving and had a stray cat with 6 week old babes that could not be caught so i told the cat she could not go because of her little ones, about 1/2 hr later i looked in my van and she was setting on the seat, so i went out and she had them in the van and i was able to catch them and they went with me. I could tell many of thing about my cats but most would say i was out of my mind. but as evil us humans are and animal sometimes pick up bad habits from their owners, for the most part i wish people were more like them. I know that m our loving God has a plan for all the animals, God's unconditional love has a way to save all of his creation. He's not a gambler and would not set this world up to lose of use, an i mean animals too. we wouldn't see the big picture now just have faith.
